Blues on Broadbeach pops up at Gold Coast Airport

May 15, 2019

Holidaymakers and locals flying into the Gold Coast and northern NSW this week have been warned to pack their dancing shoes, with Blues on Broadbeach performers preparing to get the terminal pumping.

Pop-up performances by one-man musical sensation Uptown Brown are scheduled for Wednesday and Friday this week.

Gold Coast Airport Chief Operating Officer Marion Charlton said the activations by Blues on Broadbeach performers would both entertain passengers and give them a taste of one of the Gold Coast’s greatest events – leaving them wanting for more.

“These performances are part of the entertainment schedule we have throughout the year, which increases the enjoyment of passengers flying in and out of Gold Coast Airport,” she said.

“Pop-up performances like this are fun for everyone and showcase events happening in the region, increasing awareness of all there is to see and do here.

"We are the gateway to the Gold Coast and northern NSW and support a number of key events on the city’s cultural calendar.”

The Blues on Broadbeach activation follows the success of the recent Bleach* performances at Gold Coast Airport, which coincided with the festival.

Gold Coast Airport also sponsors Blues on Broadbeach.

Live music performances are scheduled each Friday afternoon at Gold Coast Airport terminal.
