Each year thousands of items are reported lost by passengers travelling through Gold Coast Airport. We know it can be stressful when you’ve misplaced something, and we will always do our best to help you.

Lost property can be handed into a number of locations depending on where it’s located.

Left something behind on the plane or baggage hasn’t arrived?

If you left an item behind on your flight or your baggage hasn’t arrived at your destination, please contact your airline.

Lost your passport?

All lost passports are handed in to the Australian Border Force - please contact ABF directly

Lost an item in the terminal?

If you’ve left something behind at Gold Coast Airport, please fill in the lost property form below. Please describe your lost item in as much detail as possible as this will help us identify your item faster if we find it. We recommend lodging your form within seven (7) days of misplacing your item.
Gold Coast Airport’s lost property office is open from 12:00pm-6:00pm, seven days a week.

Items we don't keep

To ensure the health and safety of our team members who process lost property, there are some items we discard for hygiene purposes.
These include:
Food & drinks, food & drink containers, alcohol (in unsealed bottles), medication & false teeth, personal hygiene products, disposable pens & stationery,
baby products (e.g. dummies and bottles), and any items with a bad odour or possible contamination.

Security Prohibited Items

Prohibited or surrendered items will not be held or stored by either Trident Security Services or Gold Coast Airport.  

Uncollected Lost Property

Gold Coast Airport has ongoing partnerships with local charities Baby Give Back and Friends with Dignity.
Lost property items that aren’t claimed within 30 days are donated to these charities. Items we donate include: prams, car seats, children’s toys, clothing, bicycles, books and hats.
