Runway Into Southern Gold Coast For Cooly Rocks On

Over 80,000 people are expected to converge on the border towns of Tweed Heads and Coolangatta fro the annual COOLY ROCKS ON Festival from 31 May to 10 June, and staff at Gold Coast Airport are preparing to welcome a colourful influx of rockers, bands, musicians and dancers from around the globe.

Queensland Airports Limited Records Strong Passenger Growth for January 2013

The four airports operated by Queensland Airports Limited (QAL) at Gold Coast, Townsville, Mount Isa and Longreach recorded an aggregate growth of 6.9% for the month of January compared to January 2012.

Due to recent adverse weather affecting the Gold Coast and Northern New South Wales in the wake of ex-tropical cyclone Oswald, Gold Coast Airport is providing the following advice for passengers:

Whilst all airline partners have now resumed their Gold Coast Airport schedules some delays may be experienced in the coming days as our airline partners work to clear the backlog of impacted passengers. We advise all passengers to check with the airline direct for their flight status.
