GROUND TRANSPORT

A variety of ground transport operators are utilised to safely and efficiently move customers to and from Gold Coast Airport. These include, shuttle buses, taxis, courtesy coaches, ride share, limousines and charter buses.

All Ground Transport operators must ensure they are registered, approved and have an RFID sticker on their vehicle to gain access to Ground Transport Facilities.

Below are the licensing fees for Gold Coast Airport. Please note these are subject to change.

Taxi

$3.90

For each entry of a registered vehicle into the ground transport holding area.

Meet & Greet

$8.00

For each registered entry into the Meet and Greet facilities.

GT Transit Area
(Vehicle Size <21)

$5.00

For each entry of a registered vehicle into the GT Transit Area. A charge of $4.00 is applied for each 10-minute interval beyond the initial 45 minutes

GT Transit Area (Vehicle Size >=21)

$6.00

For each entry of a registered vehicle into the GT Transit Area. A charge of $4.00 is applied for each 10-minute interval beyond the initial 45 minutes.

DELIVERIES

The following areas in the adjacent map are in operation for service providers, approved contractors and retail deliveries.

SERVICE PROVIDERS

Parking for security and cash handling companies etc. will be facilitated in a location close to the terminal building. This parking is for short durations, to a maximum of 30 minutes. Longer stay parking is to be done via the main car park at normal parking rate.

APPROVED CONTRACTORS

Gold Coast Airport approved contractors will be facilitated in a location close to the terminal building. All stakeholder contractors are to utilise the main car park or staff parking facility and pay the normal parking rates.

RETAIL STORAGE

All goods deliveries (including stock, food, beverages, perishables and consumables) for all stakeholders are to be conducted at the retail storage and loading dock area. Goods can then be walked via the transit centre to the terminal.For more information please contact groundtransport@gcal.com.au

Commercial Loading Zones

TRANSIT CENTRE - CASUAL ACCESS

Automated access to the Gold Coast Airport is provided to registered ground transport operators and for regular users of the GCA ground transport facilities, registration is required.

For non-registered operators, who require access to the Transit Centre on an irregular basis, access can be gained by completing the online application form. Once the application has been approved, you will be contacted via email by a Gold Coast Airport Ground Transport Team member, providing instruction on how to pay the $20 per visit fee. This payment must be completed before the day of your Transit Centre booking.

APPLICATION PROCESS

Complete the attached Online Application Form.
Once the application has been processed a GCA Ground Transport member will be in contact.
Complete payment via credit card prior to the date of arrival.
Once the application is approved and payment made – Your Transit Centre booking is complete.
Entry instruction will be supplied on completion of your booking.
ACCESS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED IF THE APPLICATION AND PAYMENT FOR YOUR TRANSIT CENTRE BOOKING HAS NOT BEEN COMPLETED.
