Gold Coast Airport Pty Ltd is the airport-lessee company for Gold Coast Airport.  Situated on Commonwealth land, Gold Coast Airport is primarily governed by the following federal legislation:

  • Airports Act 1996*
  • Airports Regulations 1997*
  • Airports (Protection of Airspace) Regulations 1996*
  • Airports (Building Control) Regulations 1996*
  • Airports (Environment Protection) Regulations 1997*
  • Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 – Administered by the Commonwealth Department of Sustainability, Environment, Water, Population and Communities.

Gold Coast Airport is committed to a sustainable investment in our airport’s infrastructure. Our focus is to create significant regional development in Gold Coast Airport that benefits our visitors and our community. A list of all current building applications can be found here.

Disability Facilitation Plans

Gold Coast Airport wants to ensure that our customers with special needs are able to travel as comfortably and hassle-free as possible. A Disability Access Facilitation Plan has been produced for Gold Coast Airport and details the services and facilities available for our passengers with special needs.

Quality of Service Monitoring

Gold Coast Airport is committed to providing quality customer service at our airport. Gold Coast Airport participates in the Airports Council International (ACI) Airport Service Quality (ASQ) benchmarking program, in addition to conducting our own passenger surveys annually at Gold Coast Airport.

Ground Transport Licensing

All Ground Transport operators, including coaches, limousines and off-airport car rental companies wishing to operate at the Gold Coast Airport must be authorised to do so by holding a current license agreement with the airport. More information on Licensing can be found here.

Parking Signage Plan  (PSP)
