Gold Coast Airport remains open and operational
Due to recent adverse weather affecting the Gold Coast and Northern New South Wales in the wake of ex-tropical cyclone Oswald, Gold Coast Airport is providing the following advice for passengers:
Whilst all airline partners have now resumed their Gold Coast Airport schedules some delays may be experienced in the coming days as our airline partners work to clear the backlog of impacted passengers. We advise all passengers to check with the airline direct for their flight status.

EXTREME WEATHER PASSENGER ADVICE
Gold Coast Airport wish to advise all passengers travelling through Gold Coast Airport during the expected inclement weather over the coming days to check with their airlines directly should they be concerned about their flight status.
Please note that Gold Coast Airport will update this advice should we experience significant delays and cancellations.

The four airports operated by Queensland Airports Limited (QAL) at Gold Coast, Townsville, Mount Isa and Longreach recorded an aggregate growth of 6.9% for the month of January compared to January 2012.
