Aviation Ground Handling Awarded AirAsia X Ground Handling Services Contract

Aviation Ground Handling (AVGH) is pleased to announce the company has been awarded the Ground Handling contract to provide services to AirAsia X at Gold Coast Airport.

Commencing 5 October 2013, AVGH will provide a full range of ground support services to AirAsia X, on their A330-300 aircraft – initially servicing 5 flights per week before increasing to 7 flights per week in November 2013.

Emergency Exercise

Gold Coast Airport wish to advise passengers, media and the local community they will conduct an emergency exercise at Gold Coast Airport today, Wednesday 21 August commencing at approximately 10.30am.

There will be no disruption to passengers or scheduled services. All activity at the airport will continue as normal.

Gold Coast Airport has today welcomed KPMG’s release of study findings regarding the Gold Coast’s long distance commuter workforce.

The findings were released by KPMG Partner Bernard Salt at an industry lunch held on the Gold Coast today.
